Getting To Know My Great Great Great Grandfather

This particular Christopher Wallace is my 3X Great Grandfather. I recently found new information that allowed me to connect him to my family tree, I had his name but I needed to put some meat on his bones so to speak.

In the 1855 State Census for New York in the Eastern Election District of the Eight Ward in the City of Albany in the County of Albany on the Seventeenth day of June 1855.

 Christopher Wallace and his family can be found on page 70, lines 26 through 31. Christopher, line 26, is a 64 year old male. Born in Ireland. He's been living in Albany for 28 years. He's a Grocer, he's a naturalized voter. He owns his framed house with a value of 1200.

Christopher's wife Catharine, line 27, is 40 years old, she is shown here as being born in Ireland and living in Albany for 27 years.

They have 3 sons and a niece living with them, William, line 28 age 21 is a printer. He was born in Albany and is a native voter. John, line 29 age 16 born in Albany. Joseph, line 30 is age 12, born in Albany. A niece, Bridget Flood is on line 31, she is 13 old born in Albany.
